Welcome – We say the word welcome a lot, especially at church. “Welcome to Centre Pointe, to worship, to church, etc.” What are we actually saying, what do we mean? The word welcome comes from two root words that mean “we hope your coming here is well.” In other words, we are saying that it is our hope, prayer, expectation that your presence in this place is a good experience for you.

Wednesday – Life Groups
Our Life Groups are a way to make friends, find encouragement, and study God's Word with other believers. We have groups for children, youth, and adults that meet at church at 6:30 p.m., and other groups do meet at different locations / times.

Occupy Church!
The occupy movement has been BIG this fall. Thousands of people have occupied Wall Street, Washington, Charlotte, and lots of other places to take a stand for something they believe in.
I propose an OCCUPY CHURCH MOVEMENT beginning this week at Centre Pointe (and other churches across the planet) where thousands of people OCCUPY their local church and take a stand for something / someone (Jesus) they believe in.
My prayer is that from Christmas day through the five Sunday's in January 2012 we will all make an renewed effort to be in church on Sundays at 10:00 to worship God, fellowship with each other, and celebrate Jesus. In the process I pray that we will experience wonderful blessings from God and each other, and, as a result of the MOVEMENT, we will have the highest average attendance at Centre Pointe for a month that we've had in the past year.
Please know that my goal is so much more than just numbers. The goal is to get us in church so that we can fellowship with other Christians, worship God, find peace and direction for life, and join together as a church to impact our world. The numbers are just an indicator of how well we are doing at making those goals a reality
