Our Core Values

A “value" is a truth that is considered to be important. Values are principles that are regarded as standards for life or guides in decision-making. Values affect our beliefs and, therefore, our behavior. At Centre Pointe our Core Values are based on biblical teachings, and we regard them as foundational for living our lives as individuals and serving our Lord as a church. While our ministries, activities, and styles may change from time to time, our Core Values are based on timeless truths and help us as we worship God, reach out to people who do not have a church family, and minister in our community. They help us ensure that we do it all in a way that brings honor to God.

We value our relationship to God. We thank Him for loving us, and we will love Him with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our soul, and all of our strength.

We value our relationship to each other. We will love our neighbors as we love ourselves, and we will treat them the way we want them to treat us.

We value outreach. As we live our lives, we will be a witness for Jesus everywhere we go and in everything we do.

We value holiness. In our beliefs, words, and actions, we will be different from the world around us because our God is different, and He calls us to be like Him.
We value faith. We will live by faith in God. We will trust Him daily for miracles in our lives and ministry. We will attempt great things for Him and expect great things from Him.

We value simplicity. We will not intentionally make things more complicated than they need to be.

We value generosity. We will be generous in our giving of love, forgiveness, resources, time, and knowledge.

We value diversity. We hold tightly to the unchanging truth of the gospel; but as we live out our faith, we will be as creative, innovative, flexible, and free as God gives us the ability to be and as diverse as the people who make up our church family.

We value giving God our very best!

Our Basic Beliefs

At minimum a “belief” is a firmly-held opinion. At maximum a “belief” is a truth that we trust and have complete confidence in.
